Economic growth starts with creating an environment where local businesses can thrive. I will build on existing efforts to make it easier to start and grow a business in Norfolk, while working with the Economic Development Authority to open more opportunities for locally owned shops—especially in Wards Corner—so our neighborhoods develop real character, not just more chains.

Drawing on my professional experience in the technology sector, I will support innovation by investing in spaces like the Norfolk Innovation Corridor that bring people, ideas, and opportunity together. I will also advocate for defense and maritime companies to locate and expand in Norfolk, keeping jobs, talent, and tax revenue rooted in our city.
